Why can't my DSi read my AAC music files that are saved to my SD card?
-
I would like to listen to my music on my DSi, i converted my music through Zamzar, and placed them in a folder called "DSi Music" and gave each group of songs their own folder name according tot he band/singer. Then i copyed the DSi Music folder into my SD card. I placed it in the private area first. Then i went to the "Nintendo DSi Sound" application selected "play with you music" and a message pops up saying "cannot find any music (compatible AAC files) on the SD card. I then took the DSi music folder and placed it on the main open page of the SD card which already obtains 2 folders called "DCIM" and "private". I then added the DSi music folder to it. And the same message poped up when i tried playing them on my DSi. Do you know why it is not working?

Answer:
Have the song on your itunes 8. Cant be a song u bought. Then right click on it and press create AAC version. Then add it to a folder on the SD card. Put the folder where it shows privacy and DCIM. make sure itunes turned the song to format MPEG-4. then right click on the new version and press show in windows explorer. It will highlight the new one and drag it into the new folder.

I had the same prob! u have to use Itunes, find ur song and click "Create AAC Version" then simply Drag to the song 2 your SD Card! (for mine, there was a file named "Private" so i dragged my music there)
