How to download songs to my mp3 player?

How do I download songs on my MP3 player (having problems with Windows Media Player)?

  • Hi. Well I got all of my tracks from my fave CDs downloaded to my Windows Media player library. When I try to click on devices to copy it to my little Sansa MP3, I get this pop up where I'm automatically taken to the Microsoft Windows Media player website. I don't get it. Is there something else I'm supposed to download? The USB connection is ok. All help appreciated. Thanks!

  • Answer:

When you transfer music from windows media player, you need to press the sync button at the top of the page instead of clicking on the device. However, you don't have to use media player. All you have to do is plug in your mp3, open the "My Computer" folder, and select the device from there. Once you open the device, you should see several folders. One of them is for music. Simply open the music folder and drag and drop any songs you want into that file from your "My Music" file on your computer. You can also delete songs off of your player from this same spot.

My Sansa comes up as another drive letter in the Windows Explorer, allowing files to be copied right there.
