How do I authorize songs in my iTunes library?

Transfer Itunes Library without having to relocate songs?

• I am looking to transfer my itunes library onto my new laptop. The problem is that most of the songs in my library came from limewire and such. When i moved earlier this year i transfered my shared folder (the limewire songs) and the rest of my itunes library onto my new computer. The library came up with all of the songs that i previously had but anytime i wanted to listen to any song I had to manually relocate it. It took me days to finally relocate every song that came from my shared folder. Is there anyway I can avoid this?

  the same exact thing happened to me!!! i downloaded idump, which is a free program, which let me take all the song on my ipods and transfer them into a new directory in the music section on the computer. then i downloaded itunes and they all went on. it doesnt give u viruses so dont worry. the program is completely free and its simple to use. u can just uninstall it to wen ur done with it.
