Why does my thumbnail turn blue?

A thumbnail of a picture is different to the picture itself, can I revert to the original picture?

  • By this I mean can I turn the thumbnail into a full picture?

  • Answer:

probably not when an image is reduced to a thumbnail, some of the pixels are destroyed. and you cannot recreate them BTW if you work in reducing pics etc, us the BMP format until you are finished. Most of the qualit is preserved

No because a thumbnail is a low resolution copy of the original image. If you try to revert or enlarge a thumbnail it will just become blurry and pixelated.
