How do I delete recently added songs to Itunes?
-
I recently added 1000+ songs on Itunes, but I want to delete them, they are still under the recently added playlist, so I am wondering If I can delete all the the recently added songs, but keep the ones I had before without selecting them 1 by 1

Answer:
Not sure why nobody has given this answer yet: Press ctrl+delete to delete songs in the recently added playlist. Try it, it works! To select multiple songs, just click the first song you want to select, hold down shift, then select the last song. To select all songs in the playlist, click one song and then press ctrl+A. Now you can use ctrl+delete to delete the songs you selected.

You can't delete them through the "Recently Added" playlist, only through the main library window. But here's what you need to do: 1. open your main itunes library. 2.Right click on the toolbar that says "title" "album" "artist" "last played" etc. 3. Make sure that "Date Added" is checked and visible. This gives you the ability to sort your music by how recent it was added. 4. Click on "Date Added" and it will sort your music. 5. Click on the first song in your library, which is now the most recently added song. 6. Hold down the "SHIFT" key, and scroll down until you see the last song in that group of 1000 songs that you added. 7. Click on that song. 8. Release the shift key. Holding the shift key while selecting 2 songs will also select every song listed between them. Now those top 1000 recently added songs should be selected. 9. Press the "DELETE" key on your keyboard.
You can't. :(
Hold down ctrl while you click on the songs you want to delete. This way you can do multiple ones. Also you **** click if there is so many in a row. Say there are 5 songs all below each other in the list. shift click the top one, and the bottom one. ( 5th one) It will highlight them all. Then right click, and delete.
=D
Just create a new list of the songs you don't want, and then just delete the whole playlist all at once. You might have to delete a few of the ones you dragged over afterwards though. :P
