How do I copy my pictures to a CD?

How do I copy pictures from my computer into a cd?

  • I tried to save all my pictures, like 3,000 of them, onto cd's. DVD-R cds.anyway, It said error or something like that. so when I put the cd in my laptop to see if it copied, It went online and showed me the pictures.I just want them saved on the disk. How can i make that happen??? pls help.i have done it before but I don't know why I can't do it anymore. Thanx

    DVD's are different from CD's. Most computers come with CD-writing software that make it easy to drag and drop to create a CD, but for DVD's you need to buy DVD-writing software such as Sonic's My DVD. It's a different technology. Also DVD-R's cannot be re-written but DVD-RW's can.

Files can't be copied to a DVD as if it were a hard disk. You must use DVD burning software to create a DVD of the files you wish to have on it. That program would handle placing the files you wish on the DVD for you. Once it does that, you can not erase or alter the files on the DVD.

The way I do it is use a program called "Sonic Digital Media Plus" and make a data disc. There are a ton of other programs that do the same thing. I also have made a picture disc by just like opening the my computer thing of it (did that make sense lol) and copying and pasting the files in there. I think using a program to make a data cd is the easiest way. Good luck : )

Is there enough space on the DVD-R? Try picking the ones you want to save in a separate folder so it´s easier, then follow instructions. Sometimes, computers are funky and just don´t like some CD's....so make sure it´s brand new and you´re never tried to burn anything n it, cuz sometimes if you try, even if you don´t, they don´t work afterwards.

There is to many ways to copy to a CD`S Ok. Make folder and check the space of the Pictures with the cd. and select from you folder the pictures and send it to the Drive. ^To be copied.

get this program called NERO. you can do almost anything with a CD.

I remember going throw the same problem. First of all does your computer Rom burn cd's or dvds ? if it burns cd only then buy a blank cd if it burns both doesn't really matter

Is your CD burner called K? If yes, right click on your pic and klick "send to K" and put a CD in!
