Can you burn photos to a DVD+R?
-
Or is it for movies only? The guy at Best Buy sold me a pack after I told him I needed some discs to burn my photos. Did he sell me the wrong thing? I can't transfer my photos from my hard drive directly to the disk even though my computer is DVD+R compatible. Does it need formatting or something? Or is the guy at Best Buy an idiot? Thanks.

Answer:
Yes, you can burn photos to DVD, what you need is make a photo video before burning it to DVD. Photo MovieTheater is a nice photo dvd maker software.only need four steps, you can create a personalized and special photo video. 1.Import videos and photos. 2. Select transitions that you like. 3. Add background music, caption, narration, illustration and effects to the photo video. 4. Directly burn onto DVD disc or AVCHD. Or share them on TV, PSP, MP4,etc with HD effect. yes, you should be able to. if your wanting something like a slideshow, go somewhere online and make the video, and save it to the disk. otherwise you can only store the photos on it. You just go to the 'my computer' folder and open the disk drive:d or whatever when you have the disk inserted and just save the photos you want on it.

yes you can.. but that's assuming you have a dvd+rw drive... so i'm guessing you have a fairly old computer.. but yes, a dvd can store and play anything, movies, music, pictures, random backup files.. as long as you have a writer that can burn it and a reader/player that plays it...

I just did that. I saved a whole bunch of pictures to a blank DVD. and at anytime add and/or put more on or take some off. I just right click on the picture or picture folder <> select send to <> select the CD/DVD drive and it's done.
