How do I convert a youtube video (flv file) to an itunes song (mp4 file)?

    Translation: Please don't tell me I need to download a program even though the only way to do what I am asking requires me to download a program. uhm, sure. If a person in your situation wanted to bring a FLV file onto an Ipod, they would convert the FLV to a video format (like AVI, WMV, or MOV). They would then use a program to strip away the video (you could do this in WMM if you're opposed to downloading), and then convert what's left into an MP4. Or possibly you could skip this step and just turn the AVI / WMV / MOV into an MP4; it depends on the program. .. That is how the person would have to do that.
