What is a good study habit or study technique for me to study a very broad topic in a short time?

We are going to take an IT certification test in October 1 but was only told yesterday. Basicically, I only have 2 weeks to study a very broad topic. We were given 5 books as review materials, with each book having about 250 pages. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. What to focus on? How to manage time? etc. Thanks.
