http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ It may work if the files haven't been overwritten yet. It does a in depth analysis of your hard drive to find what you deleted. When you empty the recycling bin all it does is mark the file to be over written and make it appear "deleted" to windows. Thus the amount of space being used by that file was "Recycled". Programs like this can find those files if they havent been overwritten.

Do system restore On Windows XP go start menu>all programs>accessories On Vista go start menu>all programs>accessories>system tools. You choose a date to restore the computer back to and it will restore back to that date, bringing back any files which would have been on the computer at that time, even if they were deleted.

Try visiting www.diskeepereurope.com and look for a program under Products called Undelete. It has helped me a few times with great success. It even has version protection for MS Office. Hope this helps.
