How to transfer iTunes music folders and files to another hard drive?

• How to transfer iTune music folders and files to another hard drive? All the music files are in folders of each musician, which iTunes automatically organized. The problem is I moved all the folders which contains music files to another computer and it seemed to have worked successfully. But Only the names of the folder was transferred to another hard drive and not the actual files. It is like a car without an engine. So I clicked on this empty songs and I get this message stating "you want to locate your song?" Then I can retrieve the song from the other hard drive where the files are but you can not do this process when you have more than 5,000 songs in the hard drive. There should be a way to solve this problem. Any thought would be appreciated.

  Your best bet would be to get a 1GB flash drive and transfer your whole library over (files and all) a gigabyte at a time. It'll still take about 20 goes, but hey, if that's what it takes....
