How do I authorize my computer on iTunes?

on itunes im on home sharing and im trying to transfer my movies, apps, and tv shows. my music and podcasts worked fine, but when i tried to do the other stuff it says "[app/movie/tv show] could not be copied because computer is not authorized". i have no clue how to authorize my computer, i have even downloaded the most up to date version of itunes but NOTHING IS WORKING! pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help!

Answer:
it could be one of two problems one, you are not the administrator on your computer or two the item you are trying to copy as a copy right on it. if you are not the administrator you need to log into the account that is and it should work but if it has a copy right on it then you can't copy it at all. sorry i know copy rights are annoying
