How to make picture glossy/shiny on photoshop?

Does anyone know how I would make this picture on photoshop?

  ♦ Create a Black background layer ♦ Create layers for each of the 7 background sections. Cut and paste from a duplicate of the background layer. ♦ Put an image of a subject above each section layer and align as desired ♦ Right click on on each subject layer and select Create Clipping Mask ♦ Flatten the section layers ♦ Draw White lines over the seams of each section. Larger Stroke for the lower seams. ♦ Remove the background from 5 more subjects ♦ Place the outer subjects on the lower layers, and the center subject on the highest layer ♦ Find several images of Fireworks ♦ Remove the background from the fireworks images except where they overlap the area where the text will be. ♦ Place them on the upper layers and change their mode to screen ♦ Create your Text ♦ Place one of the images of fireworks on a layer above the text ♦ Right click the top fireworks layer and select Create Clipping Mask ~
