AVG has a free version, but you have to search their site quite hard for it. They also have a trial version (don't get that one) I use it and it works great!

Avast! has always done a great job for me. http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html I also use AVG, and I'm pretty sure if you get the google pack (http://labs.google.com) you can get a free version of norton.
