How do I set up my personal email through Outlook Express?

How to set Auto Reply of any email like "I am out of Office" in Outlook Express. Please guide me.?

  • I am using Outlook Express for sending & receiving emails at home. I often have to visit different towns. So its very hard for me to reply emails in time. So what I want that if anybody sends an email to me, my Outlook Express will send automatic reply to the sender like " I am out of office".

    Dear friend there are two types you can do that: 1- In the outlook express: First you should prepare your reply message and save the message on hard disk then in outlook express From the " Message " menu go to " Creat rule from messages " in the opened window for the box number 1 please select " For All Messages " then in the box number 2 please select " Reply with message " and in the box number 3 click on "Message" which is in blue color and select the reply message you have saved on hard disk. By the way in this case your PC must be on and your outlook express must be running always. 2: Through the server: If you do have a server for your e-mails it is better to ask administrator to creat a auto reply rule on the server. I'm sure system administrator and set it up easily. Hope it was helpful.
