How to insert a "tab" into a Concatenate command using an ASCII character?
-
I need a little advice. I'm working on an Excel spreadsheet to generate a document whose content is dependent on choices made by the ultimate user. To generate part of the document properly, I need to know how to insert a "tab" into a Concatenate command using an ASCII character. CHAR(10) is the command for a new line. According to the internet, the ASCII command for a horizontal tab is CHAR(9). However, it does not seem to be working. Can you offer advice?

Answer:
Hmmmm... I just tried it myself and all I got was a little square. Here is what I tried : =A1 & CHAR(9) & B1 Result = "testtest" LOL. It shows a tab here, not the square. Of course they trim things here, so you cannot tell.
