How can I install Oracle 9i on existing SQL Server?
-
I have Existing Windows 2K Server with SQL Server installed on it. How can I install Oracle 9i on it? I am unable to start the setup.exe file.

Answer:
Oracle 9i is a different RDBMS, It wont run on top of SQL Server nor it will replace SQL Server. The problem you are experiencing is a common one. Instead of running Setup.exe from CD-ROM's main folder, try running from Autorun folder. That works very well. BTW, why you want to have two RDBMS on one PC? Your PC's performance would be adversely affected and you need lot of disk space for database objects.
