can you use a normal blank cd to make a windows recovery disc for windows 7 or windows vista or windows xp if you download the files online to your laptop then on the blank cd i got my blank cds from asda they got asda on the blank cds

You can use blank cd for XP but DVD for Vista and 7. Using downloaded files you will need a program to burn the discs as bootable discs, otherwise they won't work. Magiciso is a good software that you can use to do this.
