How To Download Mobile Tv?

How can I download tv shows online and convert them for ipod use?

  • So I watch some shows on Megavideo and was able to successfully find a firefox add-on that allows me to download them straight to my computer in .flv format. However, I would love to put these on my ipod-but I need a converter to do so. I have isquint/visualhub on my computer, however isquint does not convert them properly anymore (it comes up as all sound/no video once converted) and visualhub will only convert 2 minuets worth of video (since its a tv show I'm sure it will take longer than 2 minuets.) So my question is, when people say they are downloading tv shows and able to play them in iTunes, how are they doing it? And does anyone know of a free converter (compatible with Macintosh computers) that can convert a .flv file into a .mp4 (ipod) file successfully? Any help would be awesome. Thanks! :) **Note: I have also tried FFMPEGX which only gave me a bunch of coding? I'm not sure what it was supposed to do but it wasn't doing it. I've also tried mediaconverter.org, and other online sources but the files are just too big.

they convert it to another format :) i use imtoo ipod movie converter, it works wonders and i'm able to watch downloaded videos on my itouch. :)

Just download "youtube downloader" from altervista. Not only will it let you download anything you want from youtube, it has an inbuilt converter. The converter works great and it is unlikely you will face any technical audio problem like you have said. So yes you can convert the .flv files straight into Ipod files. Try it out no viruses and no fees. The inbuilt converter is really easy to use, and believe me, I've used ALOT of convertors. (as a filmmaker video files are second nature)
