Download FREE Home Studio Recording Software?

im looking to download free software similar to garage band or mixcraft. no trails and easy to use with midi input available. i downloaded kristal but i dont like its confusing interface and limitedness. thanks for yr help!!

Seriously, I have tried various free programs and they are all bad. I eventually just saved up some money and bought mixcraft which is absolutely amazing and definitely worth the money. It's so intuitive just like garageband on a mac. The obvious advantage with Mixcraft and Garageband is that they allow you to use loops, midi instruments and audio recording. Nothing else seems to offer that flexibility without becoming very complicated. Both these programs are user friendly - and believe me, the competition is not!
