Can i configure my yahoo.co.uk email account to be used in outlook express ??

dwightl.geo's suggestion about YPOP! would work, but make sure you don't have Yahoo Mail Beta running. They have not configured it to work for Beta yet. Also you can check ePrompter which will check your mails from Yahoo! Hotmail GMail AOL and many other mail providers. I use it and like it a lot.

yeah, but it's real difficult. u think it's easy but it's not, there's always some new bug u gotta fix cause it's not working the way it should be. and outlook is reaal sucky, so don't bother :)

I don't think so. However I think you can use Yahoo to view your outlook. Check under Yahoo services. I am really unsure so check around.

all u need to do is set yahoo as default mail then u can send messages through ur yahoo mail when u click on a email address.

outlook express should have been consigned to the permanent bin a long time ago it's so worthless, nowt ever works as it should, it's an old dinosaur, it's redundant and useless. I stopped bothering with it yonks ago. Good luck if you get it to work for you without any bugs or glitches and hitches!

yes you can configure it to be used in outlook express From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts." Select the "Mail" tab. Click the "Add" button. From the Add menu, click "Mail." In the text box labeled Display Name, type your name and click "Next." In the Email Address box, type your Yahoo! Mail address (be sure to include "@yahoo.co.uk") and click "Next." Under "My incoming mail server is a..." select "POP3." Type "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk" in the Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) Server box. Type "smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk" in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server box. Click "Next." In the Account Name box, type your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.co.uk"). In the Password box, type your Yahoo! Mail password. If you want Outlook Express to remember your password, check the "Remember password" box. Do not check the boxes labeled "Log on using Secure..." Click "Next." Click "Finish." Important: The Yahoo! Mail SMTP server now requires authentication. To turn this setting on: From the Tools menu, choose "Accounts." Select the "Mail" tab.
