I know how to download fonts but.

How do I download and install new fonts for Windows?

  • Times New Roman just isn't doin it for me anymore... I've tried before and for some reason downloading fonts just isn't something I can figure out... Every time I download a new font it comes in a zipped file... and I don't know how to unzip the files... (While the files are still zipped) When I try to install it (following the instructions on the microsoft office webiste) the folder doesn't come up on the list of drivers. If I unzip the files will it work? Any suggestions on where to download fonts, or better how to actually install them on my computer for use (like in microsoft word) would be really helpful.. Thanks!

    over 1000 fonts here: http://www.1001freefonts.com/ download them, extract them, go to my computer, c drive, windows, the fonts folder is in there, drag the extracted font files not the folder they came in into the font folder and they automatically install :) to extract - right click and click extract all then next etc...

well, u have to unzip the file with software like winzip or winrare there is a free zip software called 7zip u can get it from www.download.com. then when u extract the zip files copy the unziped font files and paste them in the font floder it should be in this directoty C:\WINDOWS\Fonts Good luck

unzip the font files copy it and place it in the font folder which is in windows directory. Unzip is eazy as soon as u click unzip if u r no able to find the path dont worry. it automatically opens the unzipped filed in a new window and u can copy that unzipped files
