How can I download Windows Live Messenger for XP?

I try to download windows live to my computer from this website: http://explore.live.com/windows-live-Messenger-XP I download the program and tried to run it but when it started to install, it told me that I already have these programs. I have searched my computer and I can't open messenger. I used this website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938275 to remove all the windows live services from my computer and tried again with the same result. What can I do? I've been using a very early version of Windows messenger for a long time and I'm sick of it. Can someone help me?

Answer:
uninstall Windows Live Messenger from Control panel -> add or remove programs. then try to reinstall it. :D
