Windows Live messenger/MSN not working?

Signing into Windows Live Messenger not working?

i downloaded Windows Live Messenger around two weeks ago and i tried to sign in with my main account and code 80004005 came up. I have looked at the question already asked about this and followed the instructions that was given. I have signed out of windows live messenger, restarted the computer, uninstalled it, installed it again from a different website. I have gone into C:/DocumentsandSettings and then my user name i have gone into the folder where it says contacts because i have been told to delete two folders in the Contacts folder only to find it is empty. I then tried signing into Windows Live Messenger with another account only 4 days later the same code, 80004005 , came up. This is really annoying me because when i had Msn Messenger 7.5 I never had any problems with things like this. Does anyone know what is wrong and has any suggestions as to what i should do to fix this problem. Thanks.

did anyone give you an invitation? you need an invitation last time i checked to use windows live messenger
