How to get flash player on ps3?

I can't get Macromedia Flash Player to work?

  • Suddenly my computer wont allow me to do anything where it requires Macromedia Flash Player version 7 to work. So obviously I have downloaded this new version but still nothing will work! on Myspace I can't view any profile songs it says: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player." So I've downloaded Macromedia Flash Player numerous amounts of times, checked to see if java was on which it was. Turned off java then re-turned it on again. Uninstalled Macromedia Flash Player re-installed it. Re-Started my computer but it still doesnt work! websites like www.riverisland.com won't work either please please help me your help will be so much appreciated, and i will choose a best answer for this q.

    Make sure the flash object is enabled in the addons in internet explorer go to: tools > internet options > programs > manage add-ons then look for "Shockwave Flash Object" and make sure its enabled. hope this helps

Have you tried System Restore? Go to Start > Help and Support. In the Search box type 'System Restore' and follow the instructions. You then have to restart your computer. System Restore puts back your computer settings to an earlier date when you know that Flash Player worked. It may be that you've picked up a virus somewhere. Hope this will work for you

I am very interested to know what the answer is as I have exactly the same problem. I also noticed that this started to happen after a recent windows-update. I have tried system restore to a previous date and still nothing. For the moment a temporary solution to this problem is to download Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is an internet browser, and a very reliable and good one. Hope that helps you for now.
