I need PowerPoint software to read various files my friends are sending me. Where can I get a free download.?

I don't need to create any powerPoint files so I don't want to buy the software,=. I just want to read files sent to me in PowerPoint.

You can get the "PowerPoint Viewer" free at www.microsoft.com

Easier: just tell one of those friends to send you the PPSViewer. The easiest way is for him/her to send you a "portable presentation" with the viewer as an attached file. Or you might want to download Open Office, an office suite which can handle ppt's quite nicely - and you don't buy anything, go and downlaod it.
