How can I make a CV in pdf format?

I have Oracle Microsystems...how do I make a pdf. format out of this text document? It gives me "wordpad"?

I have "openofficeorg." 3.3, usually it is terrific, but I am printing a text document rtf., and it is put in wordpad!!!!!!!!!! I need it in pdf.
