Why is my PC display messed up?

  • display issues tom clancy ghost recon advanced warfighter, ill try and explain.while playing a game the display becomes unstable and the computer crashes, ive tried to adjust the graphics still the same thing happens. here are my system details: AMDAthlon64x2COREPROCESSOR4400+ 2.21 GHz. 1.00 GB of RAM. RADEON X50 GRAPHIC CARD. the screen flickers and is corrupted (lines appear and before i can do anything the dam thing crashes. the lines still remain on the screen even after ive stopped the game. please can somebody help?

    Its possible your graphics chip is overheating. Check the fan.

sounds like a bad video card, might want to exchange it.

Either upgrade your Video card. Also, check your Direct-X make sure you're running a 9.0 version. Play with the video settings turn off shadows and other things.

Hey there, Try to download a driver update from ati radeon, and this should fix your problem, and if it doesnt then try getting a pci video card fan!!!

Try Another graphix card yours could have developed a problem radion cards are pretty good as i have one myself but you do get faulty one. OK
