How to create a underscore template dynamically?

How do you create a template in Microsoft Word (for mac)?

  • I need to make a Word template that can be used for a standard 8.5" x 11" letterhead. I want it to be creative and interesting. I have excellent knowledge in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I want to use those programs to create the template...is it possible?? And then somehow transfer it to Word so it can be used as a template? I dont know...I'm stuck. I just need to create a Word template for my client so he can open it in Microsoft Word and use it. Anyone have any suggestions please :)

  • Answer:

Save as | Drop down list choose "Document Template" or If you are using word 2003, go to File | New... then go to the right side where it pops up the "new document" sidebar, click "On my computer..." under "Templates" Now choose "Blank Document" and on the bottom right of the dialog, choose "create new template" Then you'll start a new doc in word that will save as a template when you save it.

um, i had a computer class last semester. we did something to that effect. i think you go to the file menu, go down to save as and it'll open a dialogue box. where it says "save as type [ ]", scroll down its list and find "document template" or something to that effect. hope i helped

You could create the template in Word, and then save it, and then you can create a new file using the same tables, backgrounds, and fonts as before.
