Vivia Vivia is a basic editing software which is currently being developed and is in Beta testing. If you are using Linux or Windows you might want to check this out Jahshaka Jahshaka is a free multi-use offline editing tool. Although it is still fairly new on the market this page tells you everything currently known about it. Avidemux One of the more stable and complete free tools available. Blender Blender is a powerful, multi-use editing/compositing and modeling tool. It's one of the best on the market and it's free. Other than that you're into the 'big guns' such as Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro Yahoo! Not cheap but one of my personal favorites is Sony Vegas Pro 8...retail price of about $550 but you should be able to find some older versions on torrent/download sites as well as p2p clients, if your lucky you might even be able to find the latest version

You might be able to find something very good and very free here http://www.videohelp.com/. Their site's a little tricky to navigate but it's worth the effort. I've found several of my favorite audio editing apps here
