Help! I Can't Install windows service pack 2!?

  • Error message when you install Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Service Pack 2 (SP2): "The product key used to install Windows is invalid" ---- The full message is: The Product Key used to install Windows is invalid. Please contact your system administrator or retailer immediately to obtain a valid Product Key. You may also contact Microsoft Corporation's Anti-Piracy Team by emailing [email protected] if you think you have purchased pirated Microsoft software. Please be assured that any personal information you send to the Microsoft Anti-Piracy Team will be kept in strict confidence. I don't know how this happen but I cant seem to install it ): help please?

    You're using a pirated version of Windows. If you want to take advantage of all the hard work that thousands of people poured into Windows over many years, then why don't you try paying them for it? If you purchased the computer from a vendor, email the address in the message and let them know that the vendor ripped you off- they charged you for a copy of Windows that they didn't actually give you.
