What shall I do to install printer?

How do i install a printer port for my printer? also, what does an error in spool 32 mean?

• everytime i try to install my printer it says setup failed and there are no printer ports found for my computer. It also says there is an error in spool32,i dont get it. the printer has been installed before, and now its doing this. i have uninstalled he software and reinstalled it several times but nothing works. any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.

When you go to the device manager is the printer present? Sometimes you must disconnect the piece of hardware (the printer) before you install the software. Are you installing drivers or some photo managing software? You gotta know the difference. Go to the control panel and click on printers and right click on your printer if it's there and click on properties to see if a program is trying to send something to the printer. Here's what I would do. Unhook printer. Remove printer profile from the printer folder in the control panel. Remove the software or uninstall. Run some antivirus software, also spyware program. While that is going on READ THE MANUAL TO THE PRINTER! Restart the computer and make sure all the old junk is off. Turn off computer.Disconnect your internet connection. With the power off , reconnect the printer and turn it on. If this is what the instructions recommend. Turn the computer on. Windows should boot up and say it has found new hardware. Follow the prompts from there. If this doesn't work, get the nearest computer geek to fix it. Be sure to reward them appropriately if they fix it.
