Firewall blocking Limewire from working how do I stop that and get Limewire to work?

uninstall from add and remove programs turn off firewall download dap a download accelerator program (free) from ~ http://speedbit.com install it then turn on firewall download lime wire it will download through dap as dap is behind firewall the program will run as will any other you download. you could try ~http://aresgalaxysourceforge.com a full P2P site and or http://piolet.com a music only site hope this helps

Open up your firewall and it should say add programs so trust list or something similar to that. Click that then click brows. Then select your lime wire folder. once you do that your fire wall should let limewire work. It worked for me!! If it doesn't work for you u can contact me at [email protected]

Go into your windows security centre and switch it off. It takes a while for Limewire to work though once you have turned it off.

Well on there are two ways to do it on open the control panel and click windows firewalls and deactivate the firewall completely or two instead of deactivating the fire wall click advanced options and go exceptions and find limewire on the list. But i must worn you limewire is first of all illegal and secondly there’s a reason firewalls block it, it is full of spyware that will let hackers steal you person details, it is also full of weird viruses.

well just goto security center...click windows firewall goto exceptions tab add the programe in programe and services...if it is not checked then check it..n if it is not there than add the limewire.. i hope it will work

in your firewall, under programs, look through and find limewire and give it permission to connect to the internet

lol im trying to figure it out myself.. I disabled all firewalls and it still isnt connecting.
