How to copy text from RichTextBox?

Copy/Paste Text to Word Problem?

  • When I try to copy text from a document and/or from the internet, I highlight the text I want to copy (right mouse click - highlight) then open Word, then right mouse click then paste into work but the PDF (Adobe PDF Symbol) only appears; not the text that I want to copy and paste. Can anyone tell me why it does this and how to fix it. It used to copy/paste just fine a few months ago. Is this a simple setting change or something else? Help! Thanks!

    Before you can copy text at all, you need to select it. The trick is, that Acrobat contains a number of different "tools". The default tool is the "hand" tool, which is just used for scrolling. I have seen this also, some PDF's are not just copy paste freindly. Even if you save as text file, it would not show the exact text as it appears in PDF

you can copy by pressing right click and select copy or paste and then click on that another folder as right.

Are you copying from an adobe document or just text are you using IE or Mozilla. You an always try the shortcut keys Ctrl+C for copy and Ctrl+V for paste. You can uninstall and reinstall adobe. If that doenst work go to tools internet options and reset your web settings.
