There is NO Best Antispyware unless you update the definitions of the program to be able to remove new Spyware/Malware I tried a lot of programs including Microsoft's (it seems to have the best functions - not a lot of nagging screens as a lof of other Antispyware Software does), but came up to something: Use Microsoft Antispyware with AVAST Antivirus (Award winning Antivirus for 2005) which also, includes a Antispyware...this Antivirus is FREE for Personal use, and comes with a lot of features... http://www.avast.com/ http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html Also, maybe try downloading Netscape Web Browser...the latest version comes with an Antispyware that detected teh presence of Keyloggers on my PC... Add Ewido to your 2 already excellent choices. It will catch a ton of trojan horses that "fall between the cracks" of your anti-virus and anti ad/spy programs. http://www.ewido.net/en/ It is a free trial version but after the trail is over all you lose is the real-time (active) protection. It will continue to allow you to update scan and remove pests indefinatly for free. Since you already have real-time protection with MSAS, just set it up as an on-demand scanner. And similar to most anti virus programs, Ewido lets you right click a single folder or file on your computer. Very useful to check out new downloads before you run them. In short, there is no one best ad/spy protection. Most people who are really serious about keeping these pests off there computer use 2 or 3 or more different anti-spy solutions. Good luck.
