I tried to compose my yahoo e-mail. what i lost is the place to write my contents. additionally i also cannot attach any files

that's weird. try to restart your comp. if it doesn't improve, try running other browser. if you don't have any alternate browser, try netscape 7.2 (www.netscape.com click browser in the right menu)
