What is a good free internet web blocker?

How can I turn off Internet Explorer's Active Content Blocker?

  • I'm using IE to develop some web pages just on my local machine, and I'd like to disable the Active Content blocker to speed up my development. I know it's not safe to browse without it, but I'm not using IE to surf the internet, I'm only using it for development. I went into internet options and allowed almost everything, but the Information Bar still pops up on pages that use javascript. (even though I allowed active scripting...) What can I do to just turn it off?

Use firefox with IE tab extention, a web page developer must see that the page works in both firefox and internet explorer. IE tab makes switching between Inyernet Explorer and Firefox with only one click.
