What is a good video editor to make montages?

i need a free video editor that is good to make montages i have windows movie maker and i for some reason wont work and i have pinnacle video spin and when i try to edit videos they dont have sound, so i have vista, it has to be free thank you

Truthfully, there are NO good free video editors to make montages with, but if you can find someone who has Sony Vegas, that would be your best bet. You might be able to download it from Limewire or Frostwire, but it might be a virus and may take a while to download.
