What is limewire?

What exactly will limewire do to my computer?

  • All my friends use limewire. I mainly use itunes which is eating away at my money. Some of my friends say I should use limewire, some say it will totally mess up my computer.. Is there something else I can use that will save me money but keep my computer clean? Will limewire actually mess up my computer?

    Yes, most computers are getting infected by a virus because of P2P applications (eg. Limewire, Frostwire). When you use these kind of applications, they actually come with a hidden file when you download something from it. It will remain hidden until it destroys your computer. For me, I use direct downloads by googling the song. (eg. save you by simple plan mp3 download) and some websites will come up like aimini.net, esnips.com, airmp3.net, etc...

Do not, i repeat Do not use limewire, first and mostly you will be tracked by the MPAA, and then you will have to pay a fine ( $500 for each song). But luckly they warned u about it by sending a letter to you(nicely) on your internet browser. it happened to me, and luckily this was my first warning. so i urge you to delete it. download torrent files which are way safer, like btjunkie or pirate bay, so you can view the comments before it is safe to download it.

Um well it could do nothing or if you're like my sister it will make your older brother constantly have to despyware your computer. Best bet go with a torrent.

some tms it does as it dwnlds virus as a file which u want. u need to be careful while downloadin... try torrent. go to www.utorrent.com n dwnld the tool. for downloads go to www.torrentz.com. read user comments b4 dwnldn... limewire maks thngs easy, it dirctly brings files infrnt of ur eyes, but no verification is avlble...
