what are good FREE movie editors aside from windows movie maker?

these are my faves. ive seen some amvs on youtube with these programs well these arent free. i jsut download them from torrents. xD everything is free if u downlaod a program thru a torrent lol windows adobe <-i have it sony vegas <-i have it mac <--best for making movies but havent tried yet any of these in the list final cut pro <-havent tried yet imovie<-havent tried yet

You can try the trial of Sony Vegas 8.0a and if you like it you can buy it. Its very confusion that program. But the price is like 550 dollars. I know, its alot. But I don't know any other movie editors that are free... p.s Um if your going to use the torrent, make sure its not illegal to download softwares without paying. Just warning.
