What is the video format for usb/dvd player?

How does one convert a cartoon into a video format, compatible with media player, and youtube ?

  • I have already seen amv's done in windows movie maker posted on youtube, but I have yet to get an explanation of how people get it there. So far I haven't been able to upload anything except a direct unedited video. Whenever I make a project in movie maker and try uploading it, I get an error saying its in the wrong format. I cannot even open a movie maker project, as a video in windows media player. So, how do people do it ! I want to make a cartoon, I've already done it in pencil v0.4.4b. But I still can't figure out how to get it as a video.

    If you can make your cartoons into movies using windows movie maker, all you need to do is convert it into avi format. There are literally thousands of programs that can do this for you if you google Wmv to avi converter.
