Where can i find the history of my computer (cookies?

Cookies and computer history....?

  • I believe my husband has been doing some serious things behind my back online and I am bound and determined to find out what without asking him directly. He would never tell me if i was to ask. I need some actual proof of this before I stay with him or go. He is pretty handy with computers and has just about every computer cleaner installed and makes sure everything is clean before he loggs off. He always makes sure he surfs online while I am sleeping instead of the daytime so I know he is doing something suspicious. I have found some cookies with web address names in them, so does that mean he has visited that site in particular? How do I find out when? I want to install a keylogger, but with all of the software I am afraid he will catch it. Is there an anonymous one that software won't catch? Also, in general, if he is this sly, how do I find the history..there has to be somethin somewhere that has a trace left behind. Any tips?

  • Answer:

nearly every guy looks at porn even if ther with someone. but if your worried. that they are some other kind of sites. right click on the internet explorer icon on the desktop, go to proporties, browsing history settings, and then view files. click at the top, view and then details, click on the type, so that there in order of what kind of file they are. highlight all the jpeg (picture) files and copy them and paste them into another folder and then you will be able to see what they are. alternatly you could change the location of the folder, and his cleaning software might not detect that it has been changed, and then wont clean it.

If you are that worried, then it's time to really have a talk with him. Don't do things behind each other's back because that will ruin a marriage or a relationship on the spot.

Linux Root Error

Well if your husband is looking at porn its probally not his fault.

If he knows how to cover his tracks there is not much you can do. Keyloggers are a violation of privacy - a husband or otherwise. You should try to address what is the fundamental problem here - trust.

Search the temporary files and folders and the recycle bin. Beyond that, you could look at the browsing history. i.e., URLs visited. However, if you think he's doing something, ask him. Assumptions can destroy relationships.

Bring the hardisk to a expert to find out for you since your husband is good at pc. Evertime, there is trace of the user activities even you clear/delete all the history / cookies / files. Pay for it and get proof and leave your husband if what you suspect is true.

just google beyond keylogger.. i use this on all my computers in my house. it works in stealth and he would never know it was on there. just install it and if you want the cd key, just ask me and ill give it to you to use. it will take screenshots every time the mouse is clicked and if you have a mic, it will constantly record. it is a very good keylogger. after you install it you would just push a key combination on the keyboard and it will open it up. you then need a password to open up the file... when you get this and you need help installing or using it, just ask me and ill help... !~Tim~!

Use search to find where cookies are stored, copy them to a secure folder, then read 'em and weep. ps. If it's porn, why not watch it with him?
