How can I create inbound links to my website?

When making a website how to create links within the webpage?

  • I'm using webpaper to make my website, and like you know when you go to web sites there are (for example.) "home" "about" "contact us" things like that. What I want to do us for example from the "home" screen make a link that goes to say "about" then from "about" go to "contact us" thn go back to "home" you get my drift right? So could someone please help me on this? I really really new to create my website ASAP for business purposes.

  • Answer:

It will really be worth investing some time in learning basic HTML and CSS. A link can be written as: <a href="linktohomepage.html">Home</a> This will show the word "Home" and, when clicked, will take you to the web page named "linktohomepage.html" Feel free to message me if you need any further help.

Using the anchor HTML tag. <a></a> Say you're on home.html, you'll place <a href="about.html">About</a> somewhere. This will create a hyperlink to about.html, and the text displayed will be "About". Learn more about the anchor tag here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_links.asp
