How do I make my own graphics for myspace?

Make money on myspace by making layouts && Graphics?

  • Okay. well I'm what most people call a "computer geek" but I'm actually not a geek at all (I start varsity basketball -freshman) I just understand computers Anywho, I'm very good with layouts && graphics so I'm curious as too how people make a living out of it

  • Answer:

You must be good at photoshop and there's a lot of competition out there. Yes, you can make money. You just have to make sure your product is better than the competitor. Many photoshopers make brushes, but a lot of them are available for free nowadays. Also, fyi, I don't think your geeky at all. A girl at school knows almost as much about computers than me, but knows way more about photoshop and flash than I do and she's way cooler than me. She plays basketball, volleyball. I seen her workout with us when I was in football. It was only the physical stuff all the sports people had to go through, but it was pretty tough. Edit: My cousin makes $5 every myspace layout he edits for people at our school and $200 for every movie or slide show he makes for parties. Pretty sweet, he makes more that I would being paid lowest wage in a whole month. And he makes these things in like only a few hours for the movies and a few minutes customizing layouts. I used to be interested in that stuff, not anymore.

Nerdy girl, yes.. you cuold do some money, open a site and if your themes and layout are good, they might become popular and you could make money out of advertisement (like adsense)

True, I recently redid my entire website from a record company to a source code repository and i have to say that adsense made me the most money on my page (www.manlawonline.org) although thats just the pre-beta version of the new page so all the adsense and design is not fully up. and you are a computer geek! remember a geek is someone who is proficient and understanding of something beyond everyone elses capabilities. a nerd is someone who is smart but lacks social capacities (kinda like a mini-savant). So feel free to call yourself a geek and enlighten people about the difference between a geek and a nerd. feel free to be a geek! haha. I mean, im in a local rock band (www.myspace.com/unholythirstband), and a student pilot, very good in sports, and yet i call myself a geek because i am. lol? EDIT: You can also charge for your fully custom made profiles (5 to 10 dollars for basic html/css profiles, 30-40 for higher end html/css/photoshop creations). but you should also offer some for free in order to build up your credibility and have word spread around that your a good editor/designer. By the way, please contact me when you build your page so that I can put a link to your page on my website, which should drive some traffic your way.

umm. their are no people that make a living off making layouts and graphics. they make the money from ads and getting people to go to their site.

You can make money from selling and giving away free layouts and graphics on myspace but ill tell you personal experience it is very hard work. I tried to set up a site with a few free layouts and ads but it was never very successful. There is just too much competition. I now make money on the internet throught internet marketing.
