I am a programmer and would want to put some code snippets into my blog post such that they are very easy to read as code and not messed with the whole blog post. How do I do this.

Syntex highlighter will work nice. It is a open source syntex highlighter tools which works fine for every type of website download it here http://code.google.com/p/syntaxhighlighter/ see its usage here http://code.google.com/p/syntaxhighlighter/wiki/Usage It is really very easy. If you can use HTML, there is a HTML tag for displaying program code, like this - [pre] // this some code printf ("Hello World"); return 1; [/pre] Pre is displayed in a fixed width font and with the same lines, spaces and tabs that you put in. There is a related tag [code] which chooses a fixed width font, but dosen't keep the formatting. I would have put some tabs in my example only Answers dosen't support them.
