I just got a myspace account. Does anyone know where and how I get a picture for the background?

You can go to Toxxic.net (I think the names of a few others are freeweblayouts.com and pimpmyspace.com, but may be wrong) or click on a friends link under their about me section. you will see HTML codes on whatever website you choose, and all you do is copy and paste into your about me section. With a lil practice you will soon have a rockin' spot!

I've never used MySpace but I've seen a friend use a site to make her's. I believe it was Pimpmymyspace.com or something like that.

I'm not sure but I do know that teens are clearly using places like MySpace to establish social status. How do young males establish social status? By posting manly, daring images and information that demonstrate independence and bravery and by being listed as a friend on as many profiles of "hot girls" as possible. And how do girls establish social status? By posting sexually provocative pictures and titillating information that attracts the attention and friendship links of manly guys. How does any teen attract attention? By posting hot, intimate information. The teens who are into playing these games are the ones who are most likely playing these games on places like MySpace. WATCH OUT FOR PEDOFILES! I hope you don't meet a pedofile and he convinces you to meet him, you run away from home, he rapes/kills and chops you into little pieces and sends them back to your Mommy and Daddy in envelopes. If your parents are smart they would not allow you to use Myspace and other websites like it.
