How can I create a website?

  • Hi, I was just wondering about how I could create my own website with or without using a website that creates websites for "free". I took a summer class 2 years ago about how to create a website without using another website, but it was really complicated and involved lots of computer codes. So if anyone knows how to create a website please tell me.

well, im a website designer. and yes you need to know a lot of code. i know HTML, DHTML, XML, javascript, PHP, CSS, Actionscript2 and im just learning action script 3. if you want to make a real nice website it wont be easy. the only thing you will get from ''free'' sites are crappy template based things. you will also need software, and its not really that cheap. we are talking $1000's to do it all legally. however... im in a bit of a good mood, so why dont you contact me? my msn is [email protected] and my skype is ''spooldonkey'' or ''rumple stilt skin'' if you tell me what your idea is, and it seems worth it, ill make the site for you. (free of charge) ... all i ask is that you place a link on the site at the verry bottom, linking to me as credit for the design and work as webmaster. you get a free site and i get (maybe) some customers. i can even host it for you for free. all it will cost you is a few $ for the domain name E.G. www.example.com what say you?

Download django, and follow the tutorials. Tip: all proper websites require learning code. The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be good.
