Is ie8 actually much slower than ie7?

IE7, IE8, IE9 on the SAME machine?

  • As a developer, I must test all applications on all major browsers, and at all major resolutions. The problem, (as usual), is with IE. How can I keep/install IE7, 8 and 9 on the same machine?

  • Answer:

I usually just use the developer tools installed on IE9. Just hit F12 and you can make some changes including running in IE7 and IE8 modes. You can chechout some of the features here. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/gg589507(v=vs.85).aspx Edit: No problem JR. Glad I could help.
