Which has got more scope in U.S (java/j2ee or .net).please`advice?

I will be going to U.S as immigrant in couple of years.I am planning to do a course which would help me to get a job over there.Please advise on this.

Hi, I have been in US for the last 6 yrs working as Sr. Software Engineer. I have noticed that most of the IT firms here rely mainly on Java/J2EE based models and a very few on .Net platforms. If you happen to go to Seattle (WA) Microsoft's fort... most of the IT firms there work only on .Net becasue of Microsoft... Still more than 80% US IT companies are Java based.
