  both can bestudied at home and u can give direct exams too but i feel u should go for the redhat linux prog. since the minimum passing marks in this exam is 90% i suggest u first study at home n then do some practicals at home like what will happen if i do this or that then see that then u join an institute for training u can finish it in 2 months and like this ul go through microsoft is not that good course i strongly feel go for linux for mor info contact me n give me ur all getails ur study background comp knoleg etc.
